In May 2002, Oliver lucked out again with a conference location. This time poor Oliver had to travel to Hawai'i for a scientific meeting. After 5 conference days in Honolulu, Ann came to join him for some vacation while Oma Elsa was watching the kids in Madison. We spent some time on Oahu, the most populated island and then we visited Kaua'i for another week.
