In this picture gallery, you can find some maps, postcards, and pictures from the Black Forrest. The area was named after its thick pine tree forrests and is known world-wide (for better or worse) for its cuckoos clocks. The region is very warm and sunny and, therefore, grows very good red and white wine. As in many wine growing areas, the people seem to be a bit more relaxed and you can have nice wine tasting tours. The Black Forrest is also a great place for outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and cross country skiing.
